Consortium MECAFORUM®

The Consortium MECAFORUM ®, “1901 law association”, was created in March 2005 at the biennial of the Satcar Fair-Trade in Clermont-Ferrand, at the initiative of 5 motor racing circuits (Nogaro, CEERTA, Charade,  Mas du Clos and Michelin) and in partnership with Airbus.

Its aims:

·         Sustaining and developing the necessary  infrastructures to carry out many activities that can only be exercised in secure environment

·         Defending the circuits over the increasing regulations becoming more and more stringent

·         Promoting the return of industrial trials in France following a loss of more than 15 years.

·         Helping innovative projects in France.

It relies on a public/private partnership to promote:

- Training
- Economic development
- Exchange of expertise
- International Development

The Consortium MECAFORUM® includes 41 motor racing circuits so far, including 6 industrial trials centers. It was created to provide new tools for industrialists, laboratories, research centers and training centers. The Consortium also hosts more than 40 automobile and aerospace businesses in order to return to France the lost industrial trials. Many local and national companies have also joined MECAFORUM® to support us in our approach.
